LAMB Design Studio creates museum exhibitions, retail installations, and high-level concept packages for architectural spaces, consumer products and branded experiences. The studio is headed by Shane Valentino and Patrice Vermette, production designers with decades of experience in the field of design for film, television and commercials.

Shane Valentino
Valentino, a graduate of Occidental College and SFAI’s experimental film program, began his career as an art director on feature films, including Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins, Alejandro Agresti’s The Lake House, and Sofia Coppola’s Somewhere. Valentino served as production designer on Mike Mills’ Beginners and on Ryan Murphy’s HBO’s Emmy winning The Normal Heart. Valentino designed Tom Ford’s Nocturnal Animals for which he received a BAFTA nomination for Best Production Design and was also the production designer on F. Gary Gray’s Straight Outta Compton, Andrea Berloff’s The Kitchen and Aaron Sorkin’s film, The Trial of the Chicago Seven. His commercial work includes production design for Chanel, Apple, Rolex, Audi, Armani and BMW. > shanevalentino.com

Patrice Vermette
Patrice Vermette is an Academy Award winning and international award-winning Canadian Production Designer. His feature film career took off in 2005 after the release of Canadian independent coming of age movie C.R.A.Z.Y.. The film received international critical acclaim and public attention. Patrice followed up with Jean-Marc Vallee’s next film project THE YOUNG VICTORIA for which he received his first Academy Award nomination in 2010. Recent film credits include Adam McKay’s VICE, Denis Villeneuve’s: ENEMY, PRISONERS, SICARIO and ARRIVAL, gaining his second Oscar nomination in 2017 for the latter. DUNE marked his fifth collaboration with Denis Villeneuve and his 3rd Oscar nomination for his Production Design and for which he received an Oscar.

Shoko Kambara
Shoko Kambara is a graduate of Dartmouth College and has an MFA from NYU Tisch School of the Arts where she studied Theatrical Design. Her set design work in theater for musicals, plays, and opera has been seen all over the United States and abroad. Shoko has designed scenery for many World Premier pieces including Carlisle Floyd’s final opera Prince of Players at Houston Grand Opera, Chris Bohjalian’s play Midwives at George St Playhouse, Charles Busch’s play Ibsen’s Ghost at Primary Stages, NYC, and Laiona Michelle’s musical Little Girl Blue at New World Stages, NYC. www.shokokambara.com

John Isaac Watters
Watters, a graduate of USC School of Architecture, where he won both the written and design thesis awards, began his career at the world renowned Gehry Partners. Recently he has expanded beyond architecture into film, television and experiential design. His credits as a specialist set designer include Apple TV's For All Mankind, HBO's Westworld & Perry Mason, Disney's Ahsoka, The Boston Strangler, Reminiscence and Netflix's The OA. His Commercial work includes Apple, Squarespace, Major League Baseball, The New Yorker, American Express and The Sundance Institute.
